A report from the Canalys Market Company reveals the best smart phone brands in Southeast Asia, in terms of shipments, for the first quarter of 2025.
And if the report had some bad news. The smart phone market in the region decreased by 3 % to 22.8 million charges in the first quarter of 2025, breaking the annual growth 5 quarters. One of the reasons behind this is, according to the channel, that “inflationary pressures have weakened the demand for the consumer, especially in the start -up and medium -range sectors in the market.”
For the entire sea, Samsung has regained the highest market share of 19 % (4.3 million units), followed by Xiaomi by 17 %, Transition (Infinix, Tecno, ITEL) with 15 %, Oppo by 14 %, 12 % live body, 8 % world, Apple by 8 %.
What we are more curious, of course, is the Philippines.

Transition and Xiaomi remain in the first and second locations with 33 % and 16 % of the market shares, respectively. Samsung ranked third by 13 %, and Realme is ranked fourth by 11 %, while Vivo decreased to fifth by 8 %.
Will the market recover this quarter? How will the classification change? Let’s wait all and see.
