The leading Sony headphones in the ear, Wh1000XM6 enter, from the sixth generation! According to Sony employees at the launch event, they could not make a lot of mistake if there were five generations before that. Despite this impressive busy record, Sony listened to customer observations. We are pleased to announce that the Wh-1000XM6 is finally folding again, providing better active noise cancellation, and is characterized by some other advantages.

Sony will put the WH-1000XM6 on store shelves from May 15 with RRP 449.99 dollars. You can choose between black and blue silver shades in the middle of the night and platinum. It, of course, is compatible with both iOS and Android smart. With the latter, you can expect better sound quality thanks to the support of the LDAC standard!
Finally, foldable again: the biggest design change
At first glance, everything remained as it is with WH-1000xm6. The same round edges on the headphone structure, similar colors, and high comfort wears. However, if we want to take a closer look, there are important changes in the design that are present in this last edition of the excess headphones as detailed below.
For beginners, we can now pull the ear cups, covered by Sony with a fine skin and a fine, using a little strength and without any tools. This allows us to admire the improved drivers as well as changing the ear platforms if they eroded or become very stained due to the makeup or residue of the sweat. The fact that Sony depends on plastic hooks instead of the magnet like Apple or Sonos looks a little cheap given the RRP. The same applies to the inner part of the ear cups, where we find drivers, foam and a few empty space.
The second change is related to how to store headphones. After removing this function of the previous model, we now have a foldable ear cup mechanism again. This allows storing headphones in a more compact way in a pregnancy, which measures approximately 21 x 18.5 x 7 cm. The condition of its predecessor was slightly larger due to the lack of a foldable mechanism, which led to a defect in space when carrying it in a backpack. Since the sony strengthened the hinges with minerals, the folding mechanism should be able to continue for a long time.
By the way, a magnetic pregnancy closes, which you feel comfortable every time you do it. It also provides a storage space for Jack and Cruster Cable, which is, unfortunately, USB-C is still to USB-A with Sony.
Another small feature is a slightly wider head gang. This should make the WH-1000XM6 a little comfortable to wear. However, with only 252 g weight, this is also possible with a thinner headlans. The only thing is that wearing comfort with earrings or buttons is not optimal in my initial work. I felt my left ears when I wore it, as it calms down in my ears. The headphones had benefited from the big ear cups here. I need to take into account what the WH-1000XM6 looks already huge when wearing it, so this may not be the best idea.
Many operating options with very little again
There are also improvements to the headphone control tools. Sony promised in the presentation that the active noise cancellation buttons and the operating key/operating key are now more easily easily and intuitively. Although we still only find the power button and the removal abolition button on the left ear cup, they are now different in the figure and are easy to define blind.
There is also a sensitive touch of gestures on the right side of the headphone. Just as before, if we want to put our hand on the right ear cup, the transparency is activated after a short waiting.
In general, Sony has again combined some smart control options in headphones. For example, we can simply start talking when we want to stimulate transparency, gesture and remove our head to answer calls just like AirPods with ANC (Review Review), and use smart movements of movements in movements. This allows headphones to abolish ANC when standing or stimulating when the train is attempted.
Most of these functions are not completely new, but they are somewhat nice. However, what’s new is the Sony Renewal application, which now offers many functions a little more beautiful and more organized. Once I have more experience in the app, I will tell you a detailed review!
A new standard for the African National Congress Party?
Of course, the Sony Premium headphones should score points with a better voice and the best African National Congress Party! We are still listening to music via the strong LDAC program, which was developed by Sony, which has most Android devices. If this is not the case, SBC and AAC are also available. Sony has also improved headphone drivers. The company is still using a dome -shaped loudspeakers and depends on carbon. I will discover exactly how Sony improved this for detailed review. So far, all I know is that they have worked with various musicians and composers to improve sound quality.
In my opinion, however, the new equivalent 10 domain had the greatest influence on the sound. Although it is still possible to adjust the sound based on 5 ranges at the time, the headphones are now more customized, which you were happy with during the first few hours of its use. I did not particularly like the sound of headphones in the standard setting. The emphasis was overlooked and flourished a little, which led to a long -term headache. On the other hand, the middle fell slightly in the background in the standard setting, and the total sound was very narrow. In detailed review, we will take another look at whether it is still possible to improve equations more.
LE-UADIO and Auracast are also two new, and I will dive into this again in the detailed review. I also want to mention improving Sony known as DSEE EXTREME and its 30 -dimensional sound engine, “360 Reality Audio UPMIX”. Before doing this, let’s move on to more exciting (and quieter) things:
Anc with 12 microphones
The WH-1000XM series is generally the highest model in the entire “noise suppression” category. So it is amazing, according to Sony, that the African National Congress Party has improved significantly. This is possible by including two additional microphones for each ear. Sony has now placed a total of 12 microphone in headphones housing, mixing in the microphones that can be able to capture sounds in a more targeted way. However, this Sony is used primarily to improve the quality of communication when making phone calls.
Sony also combined the new QN3 processor into the headphones to be able to process information from this many microphones without any delay. Thanks to the 7X treatment speed, it should be able to respond more quickly to the sudden noise. From my first work, which was unfortunately implemented in my house due to the press siege that is still in place, I would like to describe the National Congress Party as follows:
The WH-1000XM6 managed to reduce all the noise that occurs at a time by 20 to 50 percent. It was particularly impressive that sudden noise such as writing keyboards or applause is not worse than fixed noise, such as the street noise, simulation or noise of the plane. Many ANC headphones face problems with this, and the top processing force appears to provide an advantage here.
If we want to combine the African National Congress Party with active music, we can almost prevent the surrounding noise. To test this, I set 75 % headphones with ANC activation and exceeded a smart surveillance camera that was the siren that it looks like. I had to listen very carefully to see if the alarm has already gone. It seemed as if the car warning was going outside the apartment, so my first impression is that the African National Congress Party is really strong!
Another impressive feature is a natural transparency mode, which looks like it already looks as if you were putting headphones for a moment. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to test its windlessness for wind noise, and I am slightly upset by the fact that the WH-1000XM6 does not stimulate transparency when making phone calls. This makes you speak louder and make your voice cheat when dealing with longer phone calls.
According to Sony, the outdoor calls should look particularly good for the other party. This is because headphones can suppress the surrounding noise, which must be really “magic”. I will collect more data about this claim, which will then be available in the full review!
Battery life again in 30 hours
Only one small change was made on the battery in the sixth generation, but it may be more important in daily life than it appeared in the beginning: the battery still lasts 30 hours and 40 hours without the African National Congress Party, and we are aware of the fast shipping function where you can get up to 3 hours from the time of listening from 3 minutes of shipping, based on its priority.
However, the Wh-1000XM6 can now be used while charging. This means that you can simply connect it to the USB-C notebook and listen to music without any boycott. However, when using it via a 3.5 mm cable, amplification should be active, that is, headphones should remain in operation. The negative process is possible, but the sound quality left a lot of desirable. If you are using a headphone speaker, the world looks different again.
Our first impression of Wh-1000XM6
After spending a few hours with her, I am still curious about the WH-1000XM6 despite a little disappointment. Sony is certainly improving its leading headphones and still offers a good set of jobs. However, in the end, this is a very gradual update that does not achieve any big leaps forward with the best African National Congress Party and the return of the folding mechanism.
It is possible that the best new feature is the 10 -scale equation, which can also be presented to its ancestors by updating the program. The fact that the WH-1000XM6 is now a little more expensive with RRP from $ 449.99 is not really justified. In addition, its predecessor is already available online at prices starting at $ 300, not to mention that both competition at novice and medium levels have become stronger since the version of WH-1000XM5.
Antoine’s argument, based on its review of its ancestors, is how models such as SoundCore Space One Pro (Read Review) are able to many features in this model as well, although they are much cheaper. The same principle applies more than this year according to my first impression. May-1000XM6 may reveal more qualities during a longer review period.
