Google will soon allow you to test the new Android 16 desktop mode on your phone

At the Google I/O Deleper conference this week, Google has recently confirmed some details about the long -awaited desktop feature for Android phones. The company has not only confirmed that it is building a new desktop experience for external offers connected, but this experience will be available for testing soon in the next quarterly Beta Android.

This feature provides an intuitive desktop -like interface on external screens, with a task for launching installed or modern apps in Windows FreeForm. The improved Android desktop capabilities for phones and supportive support for external screens are not available in the latest version of Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1.
