The Black Friday deals we’re hoping to see – Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution product stamped for below market value

My bet on Black Friday: The Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution sealed product has been near market value on Amazon for a while, and I think we’ll see it drop below Black Friday.

Looking for your Mega Evolution fix? With Phantasmal Flames right around the corner, it’s hard to keep up with the new Pokémon TCG expansions. But Black Friday is right around the corner, and we know how big retailers like Amazon want to turn it into a month-long event.

I’m hedging my bets on Mega Evolutions ETBs, Booster Bundles, Booster Blisters, and more to fall below Black Friday market cap this year. After over a year of ridiculously high prices on Pokémon TCG at Amazon, why do I think this will happen?

I track Pokémon TCG prices daily, and I’ve noticed that Mega Evolution products continue to drop to near market value compared to TCGplayer. This means a lot to me, because it means that trainers and collectors are no longer biting. I think these constant price fluctuations are because Amazon is trying to shift more units and may have more inventory than usual to shift. Let’s go into more details:

Mega Evolutions Elite Training Box

The price of the Mega Gardevoir ETB dropped to $92.48 on Amazon just a couple of days ago, which was roughly the market value on TCGplayer. So, if this results in a reasonable price drop during normal play, I think it’s pretty much a given that we’ll get a deal during Black Friday.

Mega Evolution Booster Pack

Once again, the Mega Evolutions Booster Bundle is down to $52.94 at Amazon on October 22nd. This was a similar price on TCGplayer. This is a cheaper product than ETB and contains six Mega Evolution Booster packs, so this will likely be one of the most popular Mega Evolution items during Black Friday 2025.

Mega Evolutions Mega Latias Xbox

After reaching an insane price of $40.59, the Mega Latias ex box is slowly heading towards a market cap of $29.99. I’m waiting for this to hit the $29.99 mark or less, which would be a strong possibility for Black Friday 2025 considering that the larger Pokémon TCG merchandise doesn’t sell as much as the Booster Bundle, Booster Boxes, and ETBs.

Mega Evolutions Three Blister Booster

Three Booster Pack blisters are a quick way to get your Mega Evolution solution, with a great promo card for your problem. Again, this is close to the market value, which is $27 on TCGplayer. So, again, I think this is key to a lower or lower market cap on Amazon’s Black Friday event.

Another noteworthy reduction is to the Mega Evolution box, which is now creeping towards its market value of $19.75. Since the booster packs aren’t the largest products, I imagine they’ll be prime candidates for a Black Friday discount.

Of course, it is sometimes easier and cheaper to purchase the individual chase cards you are looking for. Let’s take the Mega Gardevior ex Gold Rare card, which is one of the most valuable Mega Evolution cards right now at around $500. The chances of getting this after purchasing two booster boxes for around $260 each are slim, and we’re talking about copies of the 72 booster packs from Mega Evolution. There is a possibility that you can draw them and some other valuable cards, but in the end that is the risk that trainers and collectors take.
